RSC Open Stages Directors' Weekend

'Find out what happened when directors from the RSC's Open Stages project came to Stratford-upon-Avon for the weekend to meet each other and share ideas. Open Stages is our project engaging with amateur theatre makers. Over the next two years we will be working with seven partner professional theatres to support 100 amateur theatre companies across the UK to produce their own RSC Open Stages Shakespeare production. The support includes • skills sharing events • workshops • master classes with RSC practitioners • director mentoring and showcases The amateur companies involved will be performing their productions between April 2014 and April 2015'
