It’s nearly 50 years since Kenneth Clark’s groundbreaking Civilisation thrilled TV audiences with his personal interpretation of the glories of Western art. BBC Two’s nine-part Civilisations will introduce new generations to masterworks from cultures around the world, led by three great thinkers and experts in their fields.
