Timelapse video showing the installation of the Royal Armouries' latest exhibition "Warrior Treasures: Saxon Gold from the Staffordshire Hoard". This exhibition showcases some of the spectacular golden objects from the Staffordshire Hoard, the largest collection of Anglo-Saxon treasure ever found. It was discovered by a metal detectorist in a field in 2009. The objects were once buried treasures; sword fittings made of gold and garnets, mysteriously torn from their blades. The exhibition runs from 27 May to 2nd October 2016. Admission is free and the museum in Leeds is open daily 10–5.
