PLASMA - https://youtu.be/cssXEvKULrs SOLID - https://youtu.be/Ie_b-g-Jhpo LIQUID - https://youtu.be/Au9F0W0UKYQ States of Matter is an interactive video experiment around the past, present and future of Tate Modern, the Bankside building that hosts it in London and its new extension. Based on a track specially composed by our own Orri Páll Dýrason and Georg Hólm, ‘States of Matter’ is a collaboration with an international team of filmmakers and designers. They created 4 films and an interactive platform in which each stem of the track gets matched with its own video and can be listened to alone, or in combination with others. This is one of those films. With 'States of Matter', we wanted to explore more experimental and textural options. Splitting the track means that each stem had to have its own subtleties, its own identity while being part of a cohesive piece.
