The Dell
Set in the nightmarish aftermath of a prolonged and bloody conflict and taking inspiration from Peter Brook and Yoshi Aida, this production focuses on the notion that violence begets violence and shows how the horror of war corrupts the better world that Rome is fighting for.


Much Ado About Nothing, The BRIT School

The bombed-out ambassadors compound of Leonato, Kuwait, circa 1991. Set against a backdrop of military conflict and desperate merrymaking the sound of black hawk helicopters and detuned guitars clash in the desert heat in this dark take on Shakespeare's battle of the sexes.


Love's Labour’s Lost, The BRIT School

The Dell
Set in the not so cloistered halls of a certain famous English University, three young members of an ancient, elite drinking club take an oath to suspend their hedonistic womanizing in order to focus on their studies. But the arrival of Rosaline, Maria and Katherine at the start of Michaelmas term proves that "There is no evil angel but love".


Macbeth, Gobstoppers Theatre

The Dell
Gobstoppers bring a cast of 14 – 16 year olds to perform a physical adaptation of the original text, representing the demons of Macbeth's mind. Focusing on ensemble work to enhance the witchcraft and magic of the piece, the company also bring live percussion for their slick and fast moving performance.
