About Dulwich Players
The Dulwich Players is an amateur theatre group based in south-east London and has a membership of approximately 120 drawn from the surrounding areas.
We normally present three to five productions a year, with a varied repertoire, and since 1998 have done a bi-annual Shakespeare production in the Dulwich Picture Gallery gardens and, more recently, Dulwich Park.

A culture clash of characters brings Shakespeare's language to life through the island's habitants, contrasted with the arrival of the shipwrecked party, spoken in modern English and clothing.
Playing with the idea that Prospero represents Shakespeare himself he will be a constant presence onstage, manipulating events to come
About Bilton Pantomummers
Bilton Pantomummers is an amateur theatre company which was devised as a Millennium project to encourage the arts in Bilton, a suburb of Rugby which has its own distinctive and historic village centre.
Its name reflected an initial ambition to perform pantos and mummers plays, though over the years our other activities have included a festival of one-act plays, summer schools, quiz shows and a play in a day.
The panto has been our main activity throughout, with our first being in 2001. We write our own shows and typically have a cast of 30-40, recruited at auditions open to anybody aged 8 or over who lives, works or goes to school in Bilton.
The production of The Tempest coming to The Dell is our first Shakespeare and, while drawing on our experiences over the years, is not being presented as a panto but our own interpretation of the original.
