RSC Dell The Rain it Raineth Every Day Shakespeare Live Production Photographs

A large audience was richly entertained by Shakespeare Live on Saturday, in one of the highlights of the season at the RSC Dell. A beautifully balanced selection of sonnets, songs and short scenes guided us through the seasons in a seamless sequence of episodes, full of polished performances and a wealth of artistic invention. At least on this day, the sun shone, despite such flagrant provocation.

'About Shakespeare Live
Now preparing for their 26th summer production, Shakespeare Live have always aspired to raise amateur Shakespeare to professional levels.

For the third year running, the company are performing in the spacious grounds of Lackham House in Lacock, Wiltshire. For the previous 23 years, they performed annually in the gardens of Hazelbury Manor.
Over the company's history, they've donated over £50,000 to a wide range of charities, most local to Wiltshire and have formed and continue to develop artistic and educational links with local schools and youth groups.'
