RSC Dell A Midsummer Night's Dream Royal Navy Theatre Association Photographs

Sadly, the Saturday performance from the Royal Navy Theatre Association was curtailed by a combination of heavy rain, thunder and lightning. As the church, a few metres away, had been struck by lightning a couple of days before and the Dell is surrounded by tall trees, it was the only sensible course of action. I believe the performance continued indoors and I hope the cast were able to complete the play, as some reward for their hard work. The few scenes I saw promised an enjoyable afternoon and it's a shame that they were caught by the worst of the weekend's weather.
